Account & Data Deletion

(Pilot Mobile Application)

Last updated: August 24, 2026 · Effective: August 24, 2026

You can close your HUD SONiC account at any time, without giving a reason. Closing it deactivates the account straight away and deletes it permanently after 30 days — and for those 30 days you can still change your mind. HUD SONiC is operated by Aeromuse, Inc.

1. Before you close it

Export your logbook first. Your flight records are your professional history, and after the 30-day window they cannot be recovered — not by you and not by us. You can export the full logbook at any time from Export & Print in your Profile, and the export is yours to keep independently of the account.

It is worth keeping a copy of your licences, ratings and certificate details elsewhere as well.

If your aim is to stop one particular use of your data rather than to leave, you may not need to close anything: analytics consent can be withdrawn, individual entries can be corrected or removed, and you can object to processing. See Your Rights in the Privacy Policy.

2. How to close your account

In the app

Open the Profile tab, go to Account, and tap Delete Account. The app shows you what will be deleted and asks you to confirm. It takes effect immediately; you do not need to contact us.

By email

If you can no longer sign in, write to support@aero-muse.com from the email address registered to the account. We may need to verify that the account is yours before we act — we ask for the minimum needed to be sure, and use it for nothing else.

Through our representative (EU / EEA and the UK)

You may also submit the request to our GDPR Article 27 representative, Prighter, through their portal at app.prighter.com/portal/17408205363.

3. What happens, and when

StageWhen
Account deactivated — you are signed out and your data is no longer servedImmediately
You can still restore it by signing back inFor 30 days
Account and everything linked to it are permanently deletedAfter 30 days — not restorable

If you sign back in within those 30 days, the app asks which you want:

  • Restore — the account is reactivated exactly as you left it, logbook and all.
  • Start a new account — you keep the same sign-in, but begin again from an empty logbook. The old record is abandoned and deleted on the original schedule; it cannot be brought back afterwards.

After 30 days there is nothing left to sign in to: the sign-in account itself is removed along with the data.

4. What is deleted

At the end of the 30 days, the following are removed permanently:

  • Your sign-in account — the authentication record and the sign-in method attached to it.
  • Profile data — name, date of birth, nationality, current airline, position, and aircraft type.
  • Flight records — every logbook entry, along with your totals, per-aircraft breakdown and imported career totals.
  • Licences and qualifications — licences, type and class ratings, instrument ratings, aviation English, and medical certificate class and expiry.
  • Work-authorization records — right-to-work type, covered country or region, and validity.
  • Everything else tied to the account — app settings, saved jobs, followed airlines, import history, and your support enquiries.

5. What remains, and why

  • Airline reviews you wrote stay published, with the link to you removed. They are no longer associated with your account and cannot be traced back to it.
  • Anonymized and aggregated figures are no longer personal data and are not reversed by a deletion request. See Anonymized and Aggregated Data.
  • Records we are required to keep by law — only the record concerned, only for the period the law requires, then deleted.

Separately: if you applied to an airline or accepted scouting, that airline holds its own copy of what you sent, as an independent controller. Closing your HUD SONiC account does not reach it. To have that copy removed, contact the airline directly — see Sharing with Airlines.
